Introduction

Keniye Wholesale Drinks & Logistics ('Keniye', 'we', 'us', or 'our') is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

By using our website or placing an order through our WhatsApp checkout, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. This policy applies to all visitors and customers of the Keniye platform.

02

Information We Collect

When you use our platform or submit a booking, we may collect the following personal information:

Contact details: your full name, phone number, and email address, provided when you fill in the contact or booking forms on our website.

Delivery information: your delivery address, including street, city, and state, where you have chosen delivery as your fulfilment method.

Order information: details of the items you have added to your cart, your selected branch, fulfilment method (pickup or delivery), and the total value of your order.

Usage data: standard technical information such as browser type, device type, IP address, and pages visited, collected automatically when you browse our website. This data is anonymous and used only for improving our platform.

03

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely for the purposes of fulfilling your order and communicating with you about it. Specifically:

Order fulfilment: your name, phone number, branch selection, items, and delivery address (if applicable) are included in the WhatsApp message you send to us when checking out. This information is used by our team to confirm and process your order.

Delivery coordination: for delivery orders, your delivery address is shared with the Keniye driver responsible for transporting your goods. It is used only for the purpose of completing the delivery.

Customer support: if you contact us via our contact form, we use your name, email, and phone number to respond to your enquiry.

Platform improvement: anonymised usage data helps us understand how our website is used and where we can make it better. No personally identifiable information is used for this purpose.

04

Data Sharing

Keniye does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

Your data is shared only in the following limited circumstances: with Keniye drivers and branch managers strictly as necessary to fulfil your order; and where required by Nigerian law or a valid legal process.

Our WhatsApp checkout sends your order details directly to the Keniye WhatsApp Business number. WhatsApp's own privacy policy governs how that platform handles your data — we encourage you to review it at whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We do not use third-party advertising networks, analytics platforms that track individuals, or any service that processes your personal data outside of what is described in this policy.

05

Cookies

Our website uses only essential browser storage (localStorage) to remember your branch selection between visits. No advertising or tracking cookies are set.

We do not use third-party cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or any form of behavioural advertising technology on this platform.

You can clear your browser's local storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will reset your saved branch selection.

06

Data Retention

Keniye does not store personal data on our servers. The information you enter into our forms exists only in your browser until you send the WhatsApp message — at which point it is transmitted directly to our WhatsApp Business account.

Order records received via WhatsApp are retained by our team for up to 12 months for the purpose of resolving disputes, processing refunds, and maintaining business records, after which they are deleted.

07

Your Rights

You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and to request a copy of it. You also have the right to request correction of inaccurate information or deletion of data we hold.

Since we do not maintain a central customer database, most personal data we receive comes through WhatsApp. If you would like us to delete any records related to your orders, please contact us via WhatsApp or email and we will action your request within 7 working days.

You also have the right to withdraw consent for any communication from us at any time by notifying us via WhatsApp or email.

08
